I grew up in Hermosa Beach. Early years were spent with my surfboard on the beach at 2nd street. Sometime around 1966 I started playing guitar, and never stopped. Although my musical preferences have changed radically from time to time (everything from classical, bluegrass, rock, folk, and yes even country old and new) I've always enjoyed playing blues. My current guitars are all acoustic eletric, but I'm thinking of getting a solid body electric to explore more of the things you can do with all the effects processors available. These are some of the favorite groups and artists I had over the years. This is not a comprehensive list, just the one's that that to mind at the moment (Please note, I'm really bad at remembering names of groups and artists, so I'm sure I've left the best out.); Elvis, Beatles, Dean Martin, Merle Haggard, Led Zepplin, Iron Butterfly, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Janis Joplin w/Big brother and the holding company, Artie Traum, B.B. King, John Denver, Linda Ronstadt, Jan and Dean, Beach Boys, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the list goes on.

Besides music and guitar I like woodworking, dogs, computers, music editing, fishing, and anything where I'm on or near the ocean.
